Every year in May or June the Stanford Center for Innovation and Communication brings together people from academia, the media and industry for a three day conference at Stanford University. See the program for this years conference IJ8.
The academic track is part of that event, and many of the articles in Innovation Journalism have been presented at one of these conferences before they are published.

Welcome to IJ8 Academic Track. We are proud to present eight papers that have been selected trough international double blind peer review of full papers. The acceptance rate was 73 percent.
At the conference, twelve scholars from the US and Europe will discuss cutting edge research in the field of innovation and communication.
